A Gold Medalist in MBBS from MLB Medical College, Jhansi, his academic excellence led him to complete his MD in Psychiatry from NIMHANS, followed by Senior Residencies at NIMHANS and GB Pant Hospital, Delhi. He is one of the few psychiatrists in India with hands-on expertise in TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) and pioneering research on the role of Yoga in neuropsychiatric conditions.
